Yes. You can try the tools a few times without signing up. After that, create a free account to keep going.

Create a free account with your email, or with Google or Facebook, and start using the tools. You can upgrade to Plus at any time from Pricing.

If you sign up with an email and password, we send you a link to confirm the address before you can use the AI tools. Your text is kept while you verify. Signing in with Google or Facebook, or buying a plan, verifies your account automatically.

Please check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, use Resend email in the verification popup (once a minute), or request a new reset link. Still nothing? Contact us.

The AI Tutor explains topics step by step across 63 subjects, including math with properly formatted equations. You can upload a photo of a problem, use hint mode, and save and share your sessions. Exam Prep, knowledge-gap checks and learning paths build on it.

Yes. Use the Grammar Checker to find and fix grammar and spelling mistakes.

Yes. WriteTone works in any modern web browser on phones, tablets and computers. There is also a Chrome extension for writing on other websites.

Go to your Account page and choose Cancel Plan. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can reactivate before then.

WriteTone is a writing assistant, not a replacement for your judgment. Always review the output and adjust it to your context before you use it.

You share WriteTone with your audience and earn commission on what the customers you refer pay. Your customers also get a discount on their subscription.

Go to writetone.com/affiliate and click Apply to join. Tell us your name, email and where you'll share WriteTone. We reply within 2 business days - please also check your spam or junk folder. Use the same email as your WriteTone account (or the one you'll sign up with).

Your terms are agreed when you join and are shown on your affiliate dashboard: a percentage (or fixed amount) of each payment, for a set number of months. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after their discount, and includes renewals within your commission period.

Customers don't need to type a code. When they arrive through your link, your discount is applied automatically at checkout, for the number of months in your terms.

Your link is shown on your dashboard, for example https://auth.writetone.com/affiliate/ref/YOURCODE. A plain https://writetone.com/?ref=YOURCODE link works too. Share it on your website, videos, social media or newsletter.

When someone opens your link, the referral is remembered for 30 days in that browser, so you still get credit if they subscribe later on the same device. If they later use another affiliate's link, the most recent link counts. You can't refer yourself.

Log in at writetone.com/affiliate with your WriteTone account to see your clicks, sales, commissions and payouts. Customer emails are partly hidden for privacy.

Add your payment details (PayPal, bank transfer or other) in the dashboard's Settings. Payouts are made quarterly once your approved balance is $20 or more; smaller balances roll over to the next quarter. Before each payment we ask you for an invoice. If a payment is refunded or disputed, it earns no commission, and a commission that was already paid is deducted from your next payout. If a customer cancels, there is no commission on future months.

The API lets developers add WriteTone to their own apps: humanize AI-generated text, paraphrase in different tones, and fix grammar. See the API documentation.

Create a WriteTone account, open the API Developer Portal, choose a plan, generate an API key, and send it in the X-API-Key header of your requests.

POST /api/v1/humanize makes AI-generated text sound natural; POST /api/v1/paraphrase rewrites text in different tones; POST /api/v1/grammar fixes grammar and spelling.

By characters processed: each call counts the characters you send plus the characters returned. For example, sending 1,000 characters and receiving 1,200 back uses 2,200 characters of your monthly quota.

Yes, per minute: Starter 10, Developer 30, Professional 60, Business 120, Scale 300, Ultra 600 requests. Above the limit you get a 429 error; wait and retry, or upgrade your plan.

Up to 5 per subscription, for example one each for development, staging and production. All keys share the same monthly quota.

Keys are shown only once, when you create them, and can't be recovered. Revoke the lost key and create a new one in the Developer Portal. Keep keys somewhere safe, such as environment variables.

In the Developer Portal you can see usage, create or revoke keys, change plan, update your payment method and cancel.
