Affiliate Program Terms

These terms govern your participation in the WriteTone Affiliate Program (the "Program"), operated by Ibranext Technologies and Consultancy Services FZC-LLC("WriteTone", "we", "us"). By applying to or taking part in the Program you agree to them.

1. Joining the Program

1.1 Who can join. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement, or 13 to 17 years old with a parent or legal guardian as described in 1.2. Individuals and companies are welcome.

1.2 Under 18. If you are 13 to 17, your parent or legal guardian applies with you and accepts these terms on your behalf. Payouts are made to your guardian's PayPal or Payoneer account, and your guardian sends the invoice. We may ask for proof of age or of your guardian's consent, and we may close the account if it is not provided. Nobody under 13 can join.

1.3 Applying. You apply with the form on writetone.com/affiliate, using the same email address as your WriteTone account. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion.

1.4 One account. You may hold one affiliate account. You may promote WriteTone on several websites or channels from it. You may not open a new account after one has been closed.

2. Promoting WriteTone

2.1 Your link and code. You promote WriteTone with the referral link and the code shown on your dashboard. Customers either open your link or type your code on the WriteTone Pricing page; both work the same way. Your link must be visible to the people you share it with - no hidden or disguised links.

2.2 Honest promotion. Describe WriteTone and its plans accurately, follow applicable laws (including anti-spam and privacy laws), and keep what you publish about WriteTone up to date, for example when prices change.

2.3 Not allowed. You may not:

1. send spam or unsolicited messages;
2. make false or misleading claims, or advertise discounts, coupons or deals that do not exist;
3. list WriteTone or your discount on coupon, cashback, bargain or deal websites;
4. run paid ads (search, social or video) that use "WriteTone", its misspellings or its domain as keywords, or that compete with our own advertising;
5. use "WriteTone" or a similar name in a domain, or make a website, profile or content that could be mistaken for WriteTone itself;
6. place your referral cookie without the visitor clicking your link (pop-ups, hidden frames, forced redirects and similar);
7. publish content that is unlawful, violent, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights, alongside your promotion of WriteTone;
8. offer people a share of your commission, or other cash incentives, to sign up.

2.4 Self-referrals. You earn no commission on purchases by you or on accounts you own, control or pay for, including one paid with a card you also use for your own WriteTone account. We check this automatically and may withhold such commission.

3. Commission

3.1 Plus only. Commission is earned on payments for WriteTone Plus made by customers you referred. Basic plans and API plans earn no commission, and partner discounts apply to Plus only. Only new customers count: someone who has paid for WriteTone before gets no partner discount and earns you no commission.

3.2 Your terms. Your commission rate, the number of months it applies for, and your customers' discount are set by WriteTone when you join, at our discretion - for example based on your audience and where you share WriteTone - and are shown on your dashboard. We may raise your rate as you refer more customers; a change never reduces commission you have already earned. Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount.

3.3 Tracking. A referral is credited when a new customer subscribes in the same browser within 30 days of opening your link or entering your code on the Pricing page, or enters your code at checkout. If they later use another partner's link or code, the most recent one counts. We decide which referrals qualify based on our tracking records.

3.4 Ending of commission. Commission stops when your commission period ends or when the customer's subscription ends, whichever comes first. There is no commission on payments after a cancellation.

3.5 Refunds and disputes. A payment that is refunded or disputed earns no commission. If commission for it was already paid, we deduct it from your next payout.

4. Payouts

4.1 When. Approved commission is paid quarterly (every three months).

4.2 Minimum. A payout is made once your approved balance reaches $50 USD. Smaller balances roll over to the next quarter.

4.3 How. We pay by PayPal or Payoneer only. You must keep valid payment details in your dashboard; we cannot pay without them.

4.4 Invoice. Before each payment we will ask you for an invoice for the amount due. Payment is made after we receive it.

4.5 Taxes and fees. You are responsible for any taxes on your commission and for fees charged by your payment provider.

4.6 Inactive accounts. If your account has no referred sales for 6 months, we may close it; any balance below the $50 minimum at that point is forfeited.

5. Ending your participation

5.1 You may leave the Program at any time by emailing us.

5.2 We may close your account at any time, and immediately if you break these terms. If an account is closed for a breach, unpaid commission is not paid.

5.3 Once your account is closed you stop earning commission, and you must stop using your referral link and our brand materials.

6. Our name and materials

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to use the WriteTone name, logo and the materials we provide, only to promote WriteTone under these terms. You may not alter them or use them in any other way. All rights in WriteTone remain ours.

7. Liability

7.1 The Program is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it, or our tracking and reporting, will always be available or error-free.

7.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, arising from the Program. Our total liability to you is limited to the commission owed to you for the previous three months.

8. General

8.1 Changes. We may change these terms or the Program. We will publish the updated terms on this page with a new date; continuing in the Program after that means you accept them.

8.2 Relationship. You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, employment, agency or joint venture.

8.3 Governing law. These terms are governed by the law that applies to WriteTone's Terms of Service, and disputes are handled in the same way.
